Editing Woes Part Two

My working title for the story I am currently writing is, potentially, Kingdom of Lies. Although, as far as I’m concerned, the working title is ‘The one where the murder takes place during a costume party.’ Not exactly catchy.

And it is still roughly 98,000 words long and feeling cramped. Especially after chapter 20. There’s an argument that just depresses me, and I wake up in the middle of the night wondering if the clues have all been shared appropriately and are proving necessary.

I plan on reading this one to the Redwood Writer’s Club next month, and I am looking forward to seeing how strangers will receive the work. The gives me time to work out some kinks.

Still hate editing, though.
