Day 1

So, brushing the hair to clean it takes time, and I dragged my lazy butt out of bed half an hour too late for work. I need my coffee of a morning, so the hair got stuck in a ponytail after being taken out of braids. A quick swipe with the fingers is all the hair got.

My hair was a mess by the time I came home. I know because my first act was-

Well, no, the first act was to pill and coax the cat into eating by fluffing tuna flaked cat food with a fork.

Then it was time to stand in front of our bathroom mirror and brush out the knots with a flat brush. The hair had a lot of knots and removing them was step two.

Then, I went through my hair again, scalp to hair tips, with the metal lice comb.

The amount of hair and lint that came out was truly disgusting. A full cup and a half at least.

Then I braided my hair and tied it behind my head. The rest of me needed a quick wipe down so I could face the rest of the day.

The hair is doing well. It’s soft and fluffy, at least for day one.
